    Wood bed frame with drawers and mattress as well as pairs of shoes left in front of house last week. Has been rained on all week and now the shoes are all over the sidewalk. CORRECTION: 158 Sand Hill Rd., 28806 is the correct address.

    The ball and rest of the top of the left gatepost at the entrance to St. Mary's cemetery on Savin st. is so cracked that it looks like part of it might come down on someone's head. It should be patched.

    The curb on the even side of Summer St at Winn Terrace is very steep. Walking up Summer St it is some distance before there is a way to get on the sidewalk without going up the curb, and this is not a good location to be walking in the street. I have been walking here regularly with a neighbor who has walking issues and this is a problem.
